Islamorada Day 1 Part 2

When I left you last we had spent several hours relaxing by the pool and we were heading off to get ready for dinner.

I put on my super comfy nautical maxi dress.

We drove down the road about 5 minutes to Morada Bay, a beach cafe with a wonderful little restaurant right on the beach. They had a cute shopping trailer set up as well to keep you busy while you wait. www.moradabay.com/the-beach-cafe/

A Cute colorful bar welcomes you as you walk in. There was a few minutes to wait for a table on the beach so we walked around for some pictures.

They were having a private dinner right next door that just happened to provide us with the most relaxing guitar jazz music through out dinner...bonus!

We snapped a couple of pictures of the sun heading down and then our table was ready.

They sat us right by the water so I was happy!

Brought us some olive tapenade and started to light all the candles and lanterns.

Isn't the view amazing? I had never actually had dinner on the beach in the sand. It really was the coolest experience.

He ordered the coconut crusted grouper with fresh veggies and old bay cream sauce, while I had the grouper ceviche. They were both fantastic...nothing like fresh fish. It was just what we wanted.

After stuffing ourselves we leaned back, had another drink and listened to the live music and the wind blowing in the palms.

We stumbled back to our room drunk on relaxation. Pulled open the balcony door to hear the breeze and slept like we were in a comma until morning. It was a perfect first day in paradise.

Hope you are having a lovely Tuesday!
